This is my final task reflection. I hope my paint-with-me video brings you some sort of peace and new knowledge. I had a very nice time making this video. I hope you enjoy!

  This movie was about a woman, Jenifer, lost her memory to a car accident. This is a thriller and suspense movie. With her husband helping her recover, she starts to question if that is really her husband. As she tries to gain her memory back about her life before the accident, she starts to remember pieces of the life she lived and what happened to her before getting hit.  The movie starts off the Jenifer running away from, this unknown man, who seems like he wanted to kill her. The movie shows, Jenifer recovering from the hit, along with getting to know her "husband", Russel, again. As there is a feeling of comfort for Jenifer, there is also a feeling of unease as the actions of Russel become more off putting and stand out. We want to to add that suspense in our movie. Music Video Blog

         This music video project was our first group project so far. Getting to work together was fun since we hadn't seen each other in forever. It also made the work process a lot easier since we split the work up amongst everyone. During the entire project, everyone got the chance to increase their filming and editing skills. We were able to share our different ideas when putting together the video, as well as discuss the different effects, costumes, makeup, etc. Getting to work together really benefited us because everyone was good in different areas and combined together, we were able to put together something creative.     At the beginning, when we were first assigned the project, we spent a couple of days discussing the different aspects. We had many different things in mind for the video. We discussed everything as far as angles, shots, effects, transitions, CLAMPS and so much more. Critical Reflection Questions - Music Video Project

1. My product uses conventions by mimicking camera movements and angles that can be seen in music videos. For instance, a medium shot can be found in many music videos. I used this in my scene by my group members and I setting up the camera in a way where you could only see me from the waist up. This is a great shot as it focuses on the actor yet shows a some context on what the actor is doing or maybe even how they are feeling. Another convention I used was posing and lip-syncing in front of the camera. In many music videos, there are a lot of scenes where the actors are singing to the song while looking like perfection. My group and I tried to exhibited that in my music video; however, we chose to not lip-sync for half of the lyrics and lacked a bit more candid moments as we looked into the cameras many times.
