Production Blog: Last Day

After we finished filming, Eric and I started editing. Tiana and Keren were just sitting on the sidelines waiting for this finished product and critique if we needed to. It took about four days for Eric to get back to us, to update us on what was going on with editing. He said that the guy who gave us permission to use his horror music for the film deleted the video off of YouTube. He did add that he emailed him to see it the guy could send it to us or if he could post it back up on his page. Keren suggested that he should stress to the man that this is an important project we need to get done. Keren also told him to include that the project was going to be due very soon, to evoke him to respond quicker. I knew something like this was going to happen in the back of my head. Later that day, Eric reassured us that the guy put the video back up and even wished us some good luck on our project.

After two days, Eric sent us the video, before posting it on YouTube for us to embed. When I saw it, I did really liked the quality of the video and the music in the beginning. I feel like we made the best decision to get all of this equipment like the lenses, mics and tri-pod. It made me so happy seeing what we created and worked hard on, coming to life. Still, I knew that there were things that we could have improved on. I didn't want to be too harsh on us, because we tried as best as we could. Not to mention all the sacrifices we've made to film.  Once we all gave our input, Eric finally posted it on YouTube. I showed it to other friends and they did point out that there was a typo in the title of the video. I told Eric that and he changed it fairly quickly. He deleted the video and reposted it with the right title.
